Just installed this module and it's great. 2 questions though

1. Is it possible to have statistics on what my users look at when they're in my site ? I mean if I write an article create a new site in mx for it. Now you should see how many visitors/users have read the article. Know what I mean ?

2. What's the difference between Hits counter and Sessions ?

1. Doesn't KB already have that feature? And views for topics and posts?

Oh no, SiteStats so far keeps track of hits of pages that belong either to MX or phpBB.

2. I think that sessions are to keep track of how many guests are visiting, whereas hits just keep track of normal hits, no limiting on counts.

Well, thanks but if I don't create the article in KB ? Let's say I use a html-block to make somthing, and put that in a seperate page in mx ?

Edit: I see that you can add pages for the counter to watch...nevermind Smile

I've go another question BTW..

My ranks in Site Staff and User Ranks doesn't show up. They have a weird URL in: http://www.mydomain.com/forum//forum/images/rank_x.gif

I've looked into sitestaff.php, but I can't figure out what to change to get the url right. If I change the url in the forumsettings, the image disappear at the forum instead.

What does referers mean ? Is it links from other sites or what ?

1. Is not implemented yet in current version.

2. In the context of mx_sitestats...
- Sessions counter increments every time a PHP session is created.
- Hits counter increments every time a page is served.

For more information on PHP sessions:
http://www.php.net/manual/en/ref.session.php

Doesn't the counter management work as it is now then ?

Any ideas on the rankpic error I've got ?

Quoted from the PHP manual:
Quote:
The address of the page (if any) which referred the user agent to the current page. This is set by the user agent. Not all user agents will set this, and some provide the ability to modify HTTP_REFERER as a feature. In short, it cannot really be trusted.

http://www.php.net/manual/en/reserved.variables.php#reserved.variables.server

As per the Rank Images... Have you any URL?

Hi, Joakim!

I believe I got it!

Try to set (in your phpBB AdminCP) your rank images with relative paths.

For instance, for [bodydrag.com] use:
images/rank_admin.gif

instead of:
/forum/images/rank_admin.gif

Follow?
