Sorry dude, I am having an ID10T problem at the moment.

Quote:
**As an MX Block

ErrorDocument 400 /index.php?page=19&errno=400&errlog=yes
ErrorDocument 403 /index.php?page=19&errno=403&errlog=yes
ErrorDocument 404 /index.php?page=19&errno=404&errlog=yes
ErrorDocument 500 /index.php?page=19&errno=500&errlog=yes

Arrow Now the part I am having difficulties with is where the settings go? I believe they go in the 'Function administration' in the 'Parameter administration'?

ErrorDocument 404 - goes where? Parameter Administration? in the Name box?
and
/index.php?page=19&errno=404&errlog=yes - goes where? Parameter Administration? in the default value or the function area? and, is this set as 'value' 'text' 'function' etc.?

I hope I have been clear enough, like I said ID 10 T error with operator..lol

hmm.... to install as a block:

1) Create a new portal page. You already did it, right? Yours is page_id 19?

2) Add the ErrorDocs block somewhere in that page.

3) Edit your .htaccess file (the one in your documents root folder) and insert these lines:

Code:
ErrorDocument 400 /index.php?page=19&errno=400&errlog=yes
ErrorDocument 403 /index.php?page=19&errno=403&errlog=yes
ErrorDocument 404 /index.php?page=19&errno=404&errlog=yes
ErrorDocument 500 /index.php?page=19&errno=500&errlog=yes

And you're done.

You can easilly check the result by generating any 404 error (page not found).

Then look in your ACP, under Modules->ErrorDocs. There are two entries. One for the module settings, the other to review the log.

Happy Hollidays! :new_xmas:

Very Happy Thank you very much for clearing that up for myself and anyone to follow.

Of course, because my mod is installed in a subfolder of my root I needed to append the folder name to the above code, then I added the code to the .htaccess of my root, and now she works like a dream.

Now, if I was not so lazy I could have just used the original code to use it as a standalone, but, this was just so easy!

:eusa_clap: Very Nice Mod, I was not impressed with the standard custom errordoc of my host, this I really like!

I must say, Man you do nice work. Your MX-Portal as well as your phpBB mods are always very well organized and very easy to follow.

Have a very happy holiday season!
