Hi,

I'm testing your HTML BBCode mod and in forum it works great,
but

if I use it inside of BBCode block of Mx-System, it works great only if i don't use preview at all. If I use preview, it add's \-chars in front of every "-char I have inside htmlcode.

Is there any possibility to avoid that to happen or do I just stop using preview Cool

Br,
DJ

Why use the HTML BBCode when you can already use MX's Textblock_HTML feature?

I did try that and realized it has same limitation when using preview. And it even doesn't show actual pagelayot at preview, just code, so it's less useful than [HTML] BBCode.

BTW. I'm using MX-System 2.7.3 & Phpbb 2.0.13 case u need version info.

Well, this problem does not seem to be related to the HTML BBCode itself, but to the way the BBCode Block parses the message for the preview function.

I believe Jon (Haplo) improved its code, so it might be better in the next mxBB-Portal version.

It is always difficult to tell "when", but perhaps it might out around Spring or so.

Yep, it seems like it would be solved with stripslashes command but
where to put it and is this security related issue then?

Sorry for doubleposting but I found possible solution. What u think
about this:

Code:

# ---[ OPEN ]----------
#
modules/mx_textblocks/admin/mx_textblock_edit.php

#
# ---[ FIND ]----------
#
'BLOCK_INFO'         => $block_info,

#
# ---[ REPLACE ]----------
#
'BLOCK_INFO'         => stripslashes($block_info),
#
# ---[ SAVE ]----------
#

This seems to work.. who knows.. was this really this easy? When only
admins can access this editpage, I don't think this is security issue..

Yeah, that's it. Smile

No security risk, as far as you allow to edit such blocks to only administrators or people you trust 100%.
